Business Director, Creative Agency, Central London £80k – £95k Direct Marketing
|About this job:||
Fancy joining an agency that holds live gigs and has a great bar?
What’s the Creative Agency like for the Business Director?
All agencies are not the same! There’s an odd misconception about what is the right size agency for a brand. This agency hits the sweet spot.
It is a good sized agency with an independent feel and a friendly culture that has realised its creative ambition without losing its special character. It isn’t afraid to ruffle feathers and is adept at snatching business out of the jaws of the bigger networks which are brasher but less thoughtful.
They have managed to bag several sought-after accounts thanks to the fact that their clients give them some of the highest referral ratings in the industry. The standard of work is high and keeps improving – a lot of it pretty surreal!
If you are cooped up in a sterile office feeling as if you have joined a bank rather than Adland, then this quirky agency with its outlandish offices and surreal work will help you get your mojo back!
Formally recognised as being one of the best employers in Adland, this agency seems to weave magic into the industry and is modest enough not to shout about itself but let others do it for them.
Their investment in talent has paid off and their work is backed by sharp writing and great creative innovation.
The agency is incredibly friendly with a good social side and one of the best bars in London!
The Business Director role
Pitchtastic is where it’s at! The agency has been busy wooing and dating and is now bedding some new business.
The role is perfect for an experienced Business Director with big brand experience who is entrepreneurial to the core, experienced in data driven marketing and confident in partnering with data consultants.
The Business Director will be handling a terrific UK based FMCG account that is looking to re-position the brand. This isn’t about knee jerk reactions to what’s happening in the market but a thoughtful and considered approach to re-positioning the brand as a force to be reckoned with.
This is a brand to have some fun with; the client is gutsy and friendly making the account punchy with plenty of creative stimulus leading to quirky ideas
All the elements are here for great work.
The account is incredibly exciting as the key players shrug off the straitjacket of the sector and look to be much braver.
This client has decided to plough its own furrow rather than doing “me too” campaigns. As a result the work is innovative and engaging with the Creative Department keen to take a hand in making a difference.
The Business Director will be handling some blistering creative and getting involved with an account that is set to go on the Awards trail.
There is a great mix of integrated work on the account that includes e-CRM, CRM, TV, radio, OOH, digital and social media.
The agency is expecting that the Business Director will have worked in a specialist shop at some point in their career and ideally has FMCG experience.
Ambition will also stand you in good stead if you are looking to forge ahead and gain recognition as you will be joining senior management and keeping a hand on the tiller.
There is no wind of austerity blowing through this agency! It is keen to set you up for success and mindful in its approach as it puts its workforce first; there is a great work/life balance: account handlers regularly take a lunch break and socialise together in addition to getting away on time.
The agency is renowned for its supportive environment and nurturing culture and is officially one of the “happiest places” to work in the industry. They are excellent at mentoring and ensuring that there is on-going feedback so that everyone feels stimulated and has the right stretch.
The agency has a great culture and vibe with live gigs, craft and mindfulness courses and its own in-house beer!
