The Account Director role
The role is ideal for a CRM Account Director who wants to go above the line and join a highly creative advertising agency.
The account is truly integrated so the Account Director will be spending at least 50% of their time doing above the line. But the Account Director needs to have solid experience of running CRM programmes on big brands in order to balance out the team skills.
The agency is hot on integration and is keen to ensure that all their account handlers can work across all channels. This is a golden opportunity for the Account Director to share their CRM expertise with the team and gain above the line experience in return.
The Account Director will be taking the brand lead on a terrific online account that is a challenger brand to the bigger national players in the UK market.
This is usually regarded as an over-crowded sector with a lot of “me too” campaigns stuffed with hi-tech jargon and price promises. This clever client has gone for a different voice and has created an exciting campaign that has helped raise its profile and put it on the awards trail.
This is a great account to work on and the Creative Department are keen to take a hand in making a difference.
Despite having a smaller budget, this ballsy client has punched above its weight and is snapping at the heels of its rivals and is consistently stealing market share from them.
The Account Director will be handling some blistering creative and there is a great mix of work on the account that includes TV, radio, OOH digital and social media and CRM.
There is plenty of autonomy on the account since the Account Director will be reporting into a Business Director who believes in mentoring and career development.
