The Account Director role
This role is perfect for an Account Director who is keen to lead across a range of integrated accounts and projects.
The agency is recruiting as a result of growth and the hands-on role will involve taking overall responsibility for multiple accounts and projects across the full communications mix including TV/video, radio, print, social and digital.
As well as running the day-to-day account work, the Account Director will have responsibility for the strategic direction of the accounts and will be cultivating and maintaining senior client relationships, inputting into the professional development of team members and managing account profitability and utilisation.
The Account Director will be handling a mixture of consumer and government –based accounts. There is a strong new business work stream so there is the opportunity to get involved with pitches as well.
The government work is extremely interesting and looks at habit forming behaviour in the consumer and what makes people adopt certain lifestyles.
This is very exciting stuff for an Account Director to really scratch below the surface and understand the “Why” of a creative brief and get under the skin of the account; there is a generous budget and the clients are up for exciting creative.
