The Account Director role
The agency is seeking an experienced Account Director who is ambitious and wants to have a hand on the tiller. They are after a passionate self-starter!
The Account Director will be handling two UK based accounts: an FMCG account that is currently the nation’s sweetheart and a well-known fast-paced green tech account.
The agency is the creative and strategic lead on both the accounts and the Account Director will get the opportunity to work on multi-channel campaigns, working closely and forming strong relationships with mid-level and senior clients as you work together on through the line, fast- paced, campaigns.
The green tech account is an evolving brand that is highly innovative with great ambitions for growth and some exciting initiatives in play. The account allows the Account Director to have the opportunity to create comms across a range of channels and be the guardian of an entire campaign. It’s a fully integrated account which means working closely and forming strong relationships with very senior clients.
The brand is on the cusp of developing outstanding creative. The agency has moved the client from trading focused work to brand shifting work and this is a great time for the Account Director to join the account and help the business achieve its vision.
The Account Director will also be handling an FMCG account famous for creating blockbuster campaigns. Alongside this, the client also has a strong social media presence and is always looking for tactical and creative ways to engage with that audience.
The agency’s creative expectations for both accounts are very high and the Account Director will be reporting into senior level and will be supported by a strong team that is pro-active and creatively driven.
Your role will be to lead the team, nurture them and help them deliver world class campaigns. In addition to establishing a good rapport with the client, you will also be nurturing the next generation of account handlers; taking responsibility for their professional development and coaching.
As an experienced Account Director, you will be the lynchpin of the client-agency relationship. To your clients you are their greatest ally: an expert on their customers, products and services and internal operating structure; you will also be the agency’s greatest champion, using your relationship to raise the bar creatively and strategically.
The agency is seeking an Account Director who is used to working on through the line client briefs; delivering everything from TV, digital through to social, games and more.
The role would suit a creatively ambitious Account Director who is always looking for opportunities that go well beyond the brief; personally championing work from brief right through to case study.
